What is the best Computer Software program to get for putting pictures onto a dvd? My friend wants me to put a dvd together for her parents anniversary, that shows pictures with background music.

well .. im not sure about the best … but ulead cd and dvd pictureshow is prety easy to use and puts out a prety good result … albeit its slow processing the end result if ur slideshow is large …

I have always wanted to learn about upgrading graphic cards and other stuff but i am always afraid that doing this will screw up my computer. I have lots of dare devil friends who spent lots of money on Computer Hardware but spoil the whole computer. One of my friend even had his computer exploded when he tries to upgrade his hardware manually.

You might try taking a class at a technical college. I’m taking a computer hardware class and when you do so, you don’t have to worry about screwing up a computer, it becomes part of the learning process.

Some colleges want to know if I want to major in photography or digital photography. Besides the use of two different cameras, what the real difference?

They are ignoring the fact that there is only Photography (anything else is a branch of photography) and catering to the whims of a generation that doesn’t want in-depth instruction. -They make more money giving the ignorant what they want rather than actually taking the time to properly educate them.
The difference isn’t so much the camera as it is the recording medium. One is a photosensitive chemical reaction (film) and the other is a photosensitive electronic sensor (digital). If you know Photography you know both.

What Technologies are available to prevent formation of aluminum oxide ?

I really do not understand the question. On exposing aluminum to air, it almost instantly forms a thin layer of Al2O3 on its surface. As far as I know there is no way of stopping this (other than not exposing it to air). I suppose a thin coat of a non-oxygen bearing polymer would stop that happening. Once the alumina layer has formed there is no further reaction as the layer effectively seals the Al off. That is why Al is so corrosion resistant.

If I buy system builders copy of windows vista to put on a comp that i’m selling to somebody..what is the difference between this and the retail version? Can i use the retail verson on more than one computer? Or can i uset hte system builders copy for multiple? Is it illegal to use the retail on computers you are going to sell?

Retail you can use over and over again and OEM you can only use once I think.

Hi. I have a home that was new construction. It was originally painted white. I absolutely hate white and tan walls. All of the rooms have color, and when I say color I mean eggplant purple, red, hunter green…The home’s floorplan is very boxy, each room is a box and there aren’t many halls, so character definition is paramount. If the home was just white, or tan, it would be one large big box. Plus, I am a ‘vivid’ person so I wanted my home to reflect who I am, not following the latest trend. I’ve read that such colors are a turnoff to buyers. Is that true? I don’t want to repaint it tan when it is time to sell because it would cost thousands (the home is over 4500 sq ft). It has been my understanding, at least for me personally, that what helps sell a home is if the buyer sees something in it that they like. There’s got to be people who can appreciate color.

Sure, there are many people who appreciate color: THEIR colors, that THEY choose. If you don’t want to paint every room, I would paint the ‘family rooms’; the kitchen, living room, and den soft calming colors. They don’t have to be starch white, but a beige or nearwhite grey would do.

You want people to be able to see this as "their" Home when you sell it; help them imagine this.

I’ve bought for everyone but my grandfather. He’s 82 and loves gardening and water Gardening. Usually, I get him a bird feeder (he loves bird watching) or something that has to do with hummingbirds. Get a flower pot and fill it with accessories for gardening and wrap it like you would if it was a gift basket.

I bought a 2 wheeler using Finance. They take my money from my bank by ECS method without interruption on monthly basis. Now they have deposited my cheque also given for security reasons . Now i have to run post to pillar to get statements from bank supporting the same and submit it to finance company and beg behind them .. This affects my work in a greater way. Shall I approach consumer court ? How I will be benefited ?

it depends on which jurisdiction you’re talking about.. usually the courts do not differentiate between security checks and ordinary checks as they are the same.. the check is not considered a tool of credit, and thus the finance company has the right to deposit it anytime without requesting your approval. but again as i said, it depends on your jurisdiction.
